Our IoT expertise brought us to a collaboration with an exciting and growing family firm doing restoration and construction in the USA. The firm has over a thousand employees and 20+ offices, with multiple business divisions helping commercial, government, disaster, and insurance-based restoration work.

The initial remit was to see how IoT could be used to create new business opportunities, streamline operations, and reduce costs. Initial discoveries and collaboration led us to a maturity assessment that rightly moved IoT down the list of priorities. Further, we worked with multiple other consultancies and technology vendors to ensure we factored in all the good work that had already been done. Salesforce, field management, document management and enterprise security were all part of the overall analysis. The final result was broader and more fundamental, and laid out a technology strategy that helped give ATI the tools and framework to grow and innovate.

Key highlights:

  1. Digital transformation strategy and roadmap, documented and communicated to company executives from all divisions.
  2. Architecture review of Salesforce fundamentals and integration layers.
  3. Introduction of MuleSoft as an API platform
  4. Introduction of a new photo capture software.
  5. Business process flow analysis and documentation, with recommendations for human, process and technical improvements
  6. Creating a software assessment tool, reusable, adaptable to remove the emotion and sales pressure elements from selecting systems.
  7. User trials of field service software. 3 months of regular interviews, surveys and assessments.
  8. Security software analysis using the new assessment tool we created

Our work was a collaboration with the passionate experts at ATI who knew their business and their customers' needs, and together we got to a series of practical, useful decisions and insights. Along the way, we learned a lot about the fundamentals of the restoration industry.

We look forward to seeing how ATI continues to grow, thrive and innovate with the right people, processes and tech.
