With Microsoft Azure Mobile Services at the core of the backend, Matchbox created APIs that allowed the client to communicate with the system. This included custom API endpoints for data, connections to dedicated Azure SQL databases, and notifications to accommodate up to 10M pushes.

Displayed front and center on the lock screen, users were able to engage with sponsored materials, such as videos and surveys, and earn credit to be redeemed against their monthly phone bills, or product discounts.
