Challenge

Microsoft needed a smarter way to help employees navigate and interact with large campus environments. Existing systems for booking rooms, navigating buildings, and raising service requests were fragmented, making everyday tasks inefficient.

Our thinking

We recommended consolidating services into a single mobile platform powered by unified APIs. This approach would simplify common tasks, improve accessibility, and create a more personalised experience for employees across large, complex sites.

Execution

Matchbox built an Azure-based platform that integrates multiple services into a single mobile app. The app enables meeting room booking, wayfinding between buildings, shuttle booking, and service requests, alongside personalised features such as schedules and local recommendations.

Outcome

Microsoft gained a connected workplace experience that simplifies navigation and daily tasks for employees, improving efficiency and engagement across large campus environments.
